Teen Khuraldai
The program aims to prepare Mongolian high school students aged 15-18 to become socially engaged, responsible, and environmentally friendly citizens by providing them with knowledge on the environment and sustainable development, while also supporting their personal growth and skill development.
What is Teen Khuraldai
Teen Khuraldai is a national conference where high school students from 21 provinces gather in Ulaanbaatar for 4 days, divided into nine ancient Mongolian tribes. They propose innovative solutions for preserving national heritage and addressing key issues, with each tribe presenting its ideas. The best solution is then unified and recorded in the TUNHAG BICHIG.
Application requirement
- Must be a high school student aged 15-18 from Ulaanbaatar or any of Mongolia’s 21 provinces.
- Must have a strong interest in enhancing knowledge and skills related to environmental issues, sustainable development, youth participation in decision-making, and governance principles.
- Must be available to travel to Ulaanbaatar and participate in the conference on the scheduled dates.
