The participants of the "TEEN KHURALDAI" took the initiative to organize a local version of it, which became the "YOUTH POWER" conference. YOUTH POWER is a model conference designed to provide 15-18-year-old youth in Mongolia with knowledge on environmental issues and sustainable development, while also supporting their personal growth and skill development. Our purpose is to prepare them to become socially engaged, responsible, and environmentally conscious citizens.
Mission of Youth Power
1. Equip youth representatives across all regions of Mongolia with knowledge and information on environmental issues and sustainable development.
2. Educate young people on the principles of democratic governance and the functioning of decision-making processes within specific social groups.
3. Strengthen youth participation in decision-making at all levels and ensure their contributions help promote environmentally responsible policies and resolutions.
HOW TO APPLY
Every spring, participants of the YSC program come together to represent their province or district, forming teams to organize the conference. Once preparations are complete, they open the application submission channel. Announcements are made through the official YSC program page, and by submitting an application via the link in the announcement, participants can join the conference.
APPLICATION OPENS
The Youth Power application period opens annually from January to May.
APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
Students aged 15-18 from the general education schools (EBS) and vocational schools (MSUT) of the respective province and district.
How to organize the Youth Power model conference:

Form an organizing team of 3-5 people with experience from previous years' Teen Khuraldai conference.

Contact the program coordinators of the Mongol Ecology Center, the organization implementing the YSC program, by sending a request to the email address [email protected].
III
Learn the necessary knowledge for organizing the conference through online lessons and follow the instructions in the guidebook to organize the event.
